Children are accepted into the LSQ Academy of Dance from 2 years of age for the Boogie Babies First Dance Steps Class. This class helps children be introduced to dance by using natural actions of the body, such as Walking, Running, Jumping & Skipping. Boogie Babies is aimed at 2 – 4 year olds who are too young to start a formal dance class. It is an ideal introduction to the fun of dance and movement. Mums and Dads are welcome to join in to!

• Boogie Babies 2-4 Years of Age.
• Red Class 4-6 Years of age.
• Pink Class 7-8 Years of age.
• Rose Class 8-9 Years of age.
• Yellow Class 9-10 Years of age.
• Blue Class 10-12 Years of age.
• Purple  Class 13-15 Years of age.
• Burgundy Class 16 Years and above.

Please note that the class age groups listed above are a guideline only. It is the Principal's discretion to place students in the most suitable level of class based upon individual experience and ability. The LSQ Academy of Dance wants all students to feel comfortable and also challenged in their classes.

Please also note that the International Dance Association has age restrictions for levels of examinations.
